College emphasizes on strengthen the practical basic theory research and advanced technology industrialization research. Research has extended from the traditional textile field to the cross fields of other industries. We host and participate in many researches authorized by nation, ministries and commissions, as well as the local government and enterprises and institutions, such as 973 program, 863 program, international support program, national nature science foundation, achieving fruitful results.

During the year 2009-2013, we achieved 289 patents, 40 national and provincial scientific research achievements, including two nationalprizeforprogressinscienceandtechnology, every year we had increasing-number of academic published papers, 708 in total, including 407 SCI, 17,737.9 million RMB scientific research funding, including 12,160.62 million RMB horizontal project and 5,577.25 million RMB vertical project.
