主講人簡介：Raul Fangueiro, Full Professor and Senior Researcher President of Fibrenamics, Vice-Dean School of Engineering University of Minho, School of Engineering Portugal, rfangueiro@det.uminho.pt
Prof. Raul Fangueiro is currently the Vice-Dean of the School of Engineering - University of Minho, Portugal. He is Full Professor and Senior Researcher with expertise in advanced materials (nano, smart, composites) and structures (3D, auxetic, multiscale). He is the Mentor and the Head of FIBRENAMICS – Institute of Innovation on Fiber-based Materials and Composites (www.fibrenamics.com). He has more than 220 published papers in international reputed scientific journals (Google Scholar H factor: 51), 550 conference publications, 36 books and 40 patents, being one of 2% world more influential scientists, (Elsevier e Stanford University). He is the scientific coordinator of several national and international research projects on advanced fibrous and composite materials, mainly for building, defense, architecture and health-care applications. He supervised various (more than 25) PhD and Pos-Doc scientific works and is the chair of AUXDEFENSE – World Conference on Advanced Materials for Defense (4 editions) and ICNF – International Conference on Natural Fibers. Raul Fangueiro (6 editions) is the founder of the WANFR – World Association of Natural Fibers Research, member of the editorial board of several leading international scientific journals on composite and fibrous materials, and member of several working groups of the European Defense Agency and NATO. He was the founder of several university spin-off´s, based on scientific and technological achievements, including Sciencentris, B4Logic, Beyond Composites, Giveware and Pixartidea. He served as Expert Evaluator for several national and international scientific funding agencies including European Commission, Portuguese Agency for Innovation, Portuguese Fondation for Science and Technology, German Research Fondation, Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency, among others. Raul Fangueiro is actively involved in innovation projects with companies from different industrial sectors, both at national and international levels, transforming knowledge into added value products and technologies. Examples of collaborations include Groz Beckert (Germany), G+N (UK), Suzano (Brasil), Stellantis (France), ERT, Impetus, TMG Automotive, Simoldes, DST, Inovafil, Latino, among many others.
勞爾教授的研究領域是先進材料（納米，智能，複合材料）和結構（三維，負泊松比，多尺度）。他是葡萄牙國家科學技術和創新委員會委員，葡萄牙纖維及複合材料創新中心FIBRENAMICS主任（www.fibrenamics.com）。他發表國際期刊論文190餘篇（Google H指數: 45），會議論文500餘篇，出版專著36部，授權專利40件。他負責領導了多項旨在開發先進纖維和複合材料用于建築、防衛、健康的國家科研項目和國際合作項目。他指導了衆多博士生和博士後，亦是世界先進防衛材料會議、國際天然纖維會議主席。勞爾教授是世界天然纖維研究協會的創始人，多本複合和纖維材料國際期刊的編委，歐洲防務署和北約多個工作組成員。
